Porsche 901/911 chassis 13325
October 5th, 2021
The light yellow prototype chassis 13325 - nicknamed number 5 - was the first Porsche 901/911 to be seen in the UK when displayed at the London Motor Show in October 1963 as part of a series of international appearances to highlight the new model. The car went on to lead a short but eventful life, being used for a variety of development purposes. The photographs below - kindly supplied by the Porsche Museum Archive - show it in high-speed testing and acting as a works support vehicle on the 1964 Tour de France Automobile, with the Abbey at Mont-Saint-Michel in the background.
