1958 Lotus 7 S1 to comp spec
A rare example as would have been seen in club racing in the late-1950s.

This car was comprehensively rebuilt a number of years ago around a new Crosthwaite and Gardner frame with aluminium panelling by Len Pritchard. It has more recently been prepared to a period competition spec similar to that of the factory-built cars with a Climax engine, straight cut close-ratio gearbox, de Dion rear axle, disc brakes and wobbly-web wheels. The car has done little serious work since completion and is ready for hill-climbs, sprints, circuit racing and/or spirited blasts on the road. Naturally, it retains a correct identity and Hornsey chassis plate.

A rare example of an early Seven in a club racing or competition spec such as would have been seen in the late-1950s.
