1971 Lotus Elan Sprint FHC
A genuine and correct example in good driving condition

The Elan is one of the great British sports cars and the Sprint was its ultimate iteration. This pretty FHC example was first supplied in London in late-1971 and went on to spend many happy years in the Scottish Highlands. It retains its striking single-colour Pistachio bodywork and, we strongly believe, its original engine and gearbox. The interior is similarly unaltered, with a Colin Chapman wheel, working period radio, wooden dash and Lotus seat belts.

The history file suggests the car has had a handful of owners and covered less than 70,000 miles. It had an engine rebuild, a repaint and a Lotus replacement chassis some years - but relatively few miles - ago. More recently, it was re-commissioned after a period of storage and has been well maintained since. We have fitted new rotoflex bushes and an uprated radiator and fan. A genuine and correct example in good driving condition.
