1971 Lotus Elan Sprint FHC
A genuine and correct example in good driving condition
£39,950

The Elan is one of the great British sports cars and the Sprint was its ultimate iteration. This pretty FHC example was first supplied in London in late-1971 and went on to spend many happy years in the Scottish Highlands. It retains its striking single-colour Pistachio bodywork and, we strongly believe, its original engine and gearbox. The interior is similarly unaltered, with a Colin Chapman wheel, working period radio, wooden dash and Lotus seat belts.

The history file suggests the car has had a handful of owners and covered less than 70,000 miles. It had an engine rebuild, a repaint and a Lotus replacement chassis some years - but relatively few miles - ago. More recently, it was re-commissioned after a period of storage and has been looked after by the right people ever since. A genuine and correct example in good driving condition and a distinctive little car for weekend runs in the country.
